Back in December 2015 (last year) I had the great
opportunity in being asked to be the Editor in Chief of a brand new publication
at my university (Bournemouth University to be exact). Within a heart beat I
accepted the offer. Ever since I was young, I would say around the age of 10,
the media industry has always intrigued me and I have always known that I want
to work in the journalism industry- particularly magazines. I remember watching
Devil's Wear Prada for the first time thinking, yep that will be me one day
wearing pretty clothes and shoes, drinking my Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks,
working for one of my favourite magazines. A few years down the line who would
have thought I would be an Editor in Chief of my own magazine! Anyway after a
stressful and tiring (but worth it) few months 'FEATURED' Magazine was finally
launched last month, and what better way to showcase it than on my blog to show
you all!

Greek night in Red
Following yesterday's post on my trip to Crete (you can catch up here) I thought I would blog today about my favourite night at St Nicolas Bay. Scarlett and I were lucky enough whilst out in Crete to experience our first ever Greek night. I have visited a few Greek islands before, however never really considered the idea or had the opportunity to attend an official Greek night- one island being Zante and I highly doubt that was on the top of my agenda when I was 18. I would say more than likely booze was! However, now a little older (would like to say wiser too) I was extremely excited to experience a Greek night for the first time! Please excuse my squinty eyes below!

St Nicolas Bay, Crete
As our coats, scarfs, hats and array of knits are slowly making their way back in our wardrobes until winter approaches us again, this clearly only means one thing... spring is here and summer is just round the corner. Recently, we have started to see a rare sighting of a large orange ball in the sky , normally known as the sun. Despite it being a bit too cold as of yet, I can't help but instantly think of summer, cocktails, a tan, and pretty floral clothing strutting up and down the streets. Whilst I should be sat at my desk writing my dissertation as I am nearing the end of my degree, I am finding myself far to often ending up on holiday booking websites seeking out the best deals and the best places to visit this year, as well as scrolling through the photos from last summers holidays. So if you're anything like me, and find yourself procrastinating over your next holiday to book for this summer I thought I would give you a helping hand. Today's post is on my holiday to Crete September just gone, and if you're looking for somewhere to indulge in luxury this summer... then look no further.

TWENTY ONE
Before I begin this post, I think I owe you all an apology due to my rather long absence from the site in the last few months. I can't believe it was October the last time I blogged- I would like to say 'time flies when your having fun' however that's not really the case, with it being my final year of university. I am currently finding myself engulfed in deadlines, after deadlines, after deadlines.... you get the idea. However, not all is dismal and mundane, as in the last few months I have managed completed my Final year Project (well one of them at least), I went home for Christmas, we said good bye to 2015 and hello to 2016 (Happy New Year by the way) AND I TURNED 21!

My Major Multimedia Project- ALOPECIA AWARE
This is an "out of the ordinary" kind of blog post I am sharing with you today. Although this is not usually the sort of content I usually publish, I wanted to share with you my new and upcoming project that I am working on and rather excited about. As you know, I am now in my third and final year of university... yes the all important year! My 'To Do' list is growing daily, with a new bullet point (or more) adding to the list each day, and the stress is starting to creep back into my life. Although I am not here to rant about me being stressed out today, I wanted to share with you my new project that I am working, and give my project some lime-light and a bit of attention.
